QUICK GUIDE

The DrainMaster is designed to be used under individual plants and replaces the classic saucer.

EC & pH value measurement with the DrainMaster

1. Water until sufficient drainage water is collected in the tray
2. Pull out drip tray
3. Measure the conductivity in the drainage water using an EC meter

Accurate application of the DrainMaster (EBB & FLOOD)

1. Substrate EBBE: “almost dried out” / “the pot becomes light”
2. Water with water and fertilizer (EC value e.g. 900µS) until the substrate is saturated and drainage water accumulates in the drip tray (FLUT)
3. Measure the conductivity in the drainage water with an EC value meter and the same with the pH value
4. Evaluate the measured value (e.g. target value: 2000yS)
5. If the measured value is too high, reduce the amount of fertilizer for the next watering or, in case of large deviations, FLUSH with irrigation water without fertilizer (EC value e.g. 300µS)
6. If the measured value is too low, increase the amount of fertilizer for the next watering a little
7. the knowledge gained can be documented
8. WAIT for the tide to ebb again and then start from point 1

Large footprint & easy handling

The draining rack offers a maximum footprint of 24 cm x 24 cm and accommodates large pots. At just 10 cm high, you minimize the amount of space lost in your grow box. The 1.4-liter drip tray ensures your plants never stand in their own water, effectively preventing root rot.

Integrated canals & water reuse

Improved air circulation thanks to integrated channels and easy EC value measurement with new substrate are advantages of the DrainMaster draining stand. Additionally, you can reuse the drainage water for automated irrigation systems using the ½" / 12.5mm hose connection.

Easy cleaning & high load capacity

The DrainMaster draining rack is easy to clean under running water, and its smooth channels and drip tray minimize buildup. Its standard load capacity is 50 kg.
