The Feltpot beds are made of breathable geotextile felt and are connected with plastic poles to form a stable, square raised bed. Assembly is simple and requires no tools. The felt ensures even aeration of the substrate, thus supporting healthy root development and active soil life.

The geotextile (100% polyester) is manufactured in Spain, is free of recycled materials, UV-resistant, and designed to last for over 10 years. The open felt maintains a balanced temperature and moisture level in the root zone—ideal for use with BioTabs, compost tea, or living soil.

Unlike closed planters, Feltpot beds allow for natural root autopodization: The air-permeable felt walls encourage roots to branch out instead of growing in circles. At the same time, the material prevents heat stress in summer and protects the soil from cooling in winter.

The beds are easy to dismantle, clean, and store after the season. A drainage layer (e.g., expanded clay) at the bottom is recommended, as is firmly pressing the substrate. Feltpot beds offer a durable, flexible, and ecologically sound alternative to traditional raised beds.
