The square Feltpot pots are made of high-quality geotextile felt, manufactured in Spain from 100% polyester—free from recycled or harmful materials. The open structure of the material ensures long-lasting aeration of the rooting medium and promotes healthy soil biology. UV protection makes the pots weatherproof and durable.

Compared to classic plastic pots, Feltpot pots allow for natural root containment: On the felt walls, the roots stop growing in length due to air and light and branch out instead – this auto-poda effect ensures a strong, branched root system.

The high oxygen availability and even moisture distribution create ideal conditions for microorganisms such as mycorrhiza and trichoderma. These support nutrient uptake, strengthen the plants' immune systems, and promote visible growth. You can easily water the pots daily or leave them in a saucer with a little water.

The robust seams made of patented nylon (comparable to fishing line) withstand even persistent moisture. Feltpot pots are reusable for many growing cycles and can even be washed in the washing machine if necessary. For best results, we recommend adding a drainage layer and compacting the substrate thoroughly when filling.
