FeltPot fabric pot round 40 liters

The round Feltpot pots are made of high-quality geotextile felt (100% polyester, no recycled components) manufactured in Spain. The material is highly breathable, UV-resistant, and designed for a long service life of over 10 years. Thanks to the strong, patented nylon seams (comparable to fishing line), the pots reliably retain their shape even under intensive use and in humid conditions.

Unlike conventional plastic pots, Feltpots effectively prevent root cycling. The roots grow up to the felt wall, where they are stopped by light and air, and branch out – a natural autopoda effect. This promotes a strong, fine root system and healthy plant development.

Thanks to the excellent ventilation, you can easily water the pots daily or leave them in a saucer with a little water. The combination of oxygen supply and moisture creates ideal conditions for active soil life, including mycorrhiza and trichoderma. This strengthens the plant's immune system and optimizes nutrient uptake.

The felt structure also protects the roots from heat in summer and cold in winter. For best results, we recommend adding a drainage layer (e.g., expanded clay) when filling and compacting the substrate well. The pots are available in many sizes and are easy to clean after the season—even in the washing machine.
