Since activated carbon filters are wear parts, the activated carbon must be replaced when saturated to maintain the filter function. Activated carbon specially selected for humid environments is not pelletized and has only a minimal ash content. With its 5 cm thick carbon bed, this filter has a high odor absorption capacity .
